Dogs

We love dogs just as much as you do, but please could you abide by the following:

• Please keep your dog on the lead outside as we are a working small holding.
• Please clean up after your dog and put the waste in the designated bin outside.
• Dogs are not allowed on the furniture including beds.
• Dogs are not to be left unattended in the property.

If you need anything for your dog like poo bags or towels then please do ask.

Septic Tank

All waste from the sinks, shower and toilet is stored in our septic tank. Please do not use any bleach or put anything down the toilet except toilet paper. There is a bin provided for any other waste.

Rubbish and Recycling

Ceredigion allows us to recycle most things. When you arrive please look at the list in the information file to see what you deposit in the recycling, glass and food bins. The last thing we want to do is go through your rubbish to take out all the recycling.

Please place general rubbish and food waste in the bins under the sink. The glass bin (black box) can be found by the farm gate. All other recycling to be places in the plastic container outside your front door.

If you fill your food bin please tie and place in the food bin by the farm gate. If you fill your general rubbish please tie and place by the food bin.

Hot Tub

Please take care when using the hot tub.

Please abide with the following:

• Use the toilet and shower before entering the hot tub
• Do not wear sun tan lotions, spray tans or skin creams in the hot tub
• Do not use the hot tub after a heavy meal or under the influence of alcohol or sedatives
• Do keep your head above the water at all times.
• Seek medical advice before entering the hot tub if you are pregnant, are immunosuppressed or have health problems such as diabetes or heart problems.
• Do not spend more than 30 minutes in the hot tub at a time.
  
  

Heating

• Downstairs – there is underfloor heating along with the woodburner. If you need assistance to change the settings please ask.
• Upstairs – The bedrooms have electric panel heaters. If you need assistance to change the temperature or settings please ask. Please do not cover them with towels, clothes etc.
• The bathroom has a heated towel rail.
  
  

Extra Items

There is an ironing board and iron if you need one and a hairdryer in the double bedroom.

A drying rack can be found in the bathroom

Farm Produce

Fancy trying something from the farm – try our selection of farm made Jams or Chutneys, or perhaps some fresh eggs, or perhaps a joint of local Welsh lamb? Check out the provisions cupboard outside the farm or speak to us at the farmhouse. (subject to availability / seasons)

Additional firewood

There is an initial supply of firewood – more can be provided for a small charge, or wood is available in Nisa or other local stores.
